  Chan Don was born Mickey LaSean Bowen on October 11th, 1987 in Guyana. He then moved to Selma, Alabama where his family struggled to make ends meet.
He decided to join the army so he could see more of the world. It was his time here that he realized he had a genuine love for rap music. He visited and performed in many countries such as Germany, Dubai, Amsterdam, Iraq, London, Turkey and Kuwait. It was these experiences that gave him the content, drive and determination to write and perform music.
His dream is to become a relevant rap artist like the ones that inspired him such as Jay-Z, Nas and T-Pain.
He eats, breathes and sleeps his music and he promises that he will never give up until he makes it.
